What to Expect

You are here because you are considering booking a session or have booked a session with T.W. Gallop Photography and are wondering what on earth you should expect! I want to put you at ease and make preparing for your session comfortable and easy. We offer full service photography to guide you through the booking process, session planning, photography session, viewing and ordering. If at any time you have questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us.

Booking a Session:

As soon as you are interested in booking a session, call, email me, or submit an inquiry through the booking link. We'll discuss all the details: the type of session you are looking for, time, location, photography package, and what you hope to portray in your portraits. Once we have had our pre-session planning, I'll send an email documenting all the specifics we discussed, payment details, a contract, session prep guide, and other information you may need for the session.  Note: If you are looking to book a newborn session, please contact me before your due date so that we can get you onto the schedule before baby arrives!

Your Photo Session:

With the exception of newborn photography or mini sessions, most sessions are on average an hour. However, life happens and our session may take more time to capture your images. Before your session, we will go over any special ideas, poses, and the must-have photos you are looking for. One of my favorite things to capture are those candid moments, those genuine, life as it happens, photos. I strive to keep our session relaxed and make sure everyone is comfortable. The more comfortable and relaxed you are, the more you'll enjoy your session.

After Your Session:

After your session, I upload your photos to my computer, back them up, and then begin editing. It takes about two to four weeks to prepare your gallery from your session. Once the gallery is complete, we will schedule a viewing and ordering session to see all of your photos, and pick the photos for the products in your photography package. Any products that are not digital downloads will be ordered from my professional photo lab, packaged, and delivered to you upon arrival at my studio.
